Whether you
are looking to purchase your dream home or refinance your existing
home, ICU has a program that will fit your needs. When you are
shopping for a home loan, it is important to obtain the total
cost of the loan, what is the interest rate, what are the closing
costs, are you able to buy down the interest rate. Our experienced
lending staff will help you determine what your total costs are
to make an informed decision about where to finance your next
real estate loan.
Wondering...
- How much house you would qualify for?
- How much house does a given payment buy?
- What is the monthly payment?
- Will refinancing save money?

ICU currently offers:
First-time homebuyers program from WHEDA --
This program offers first time home buyers, who fall within
the WHEDA income limit for the county in which the home is
being purchased, with a good credit rating and steady income,
a 30 year fixed rate mortgage with a low down payment and below-market
interest rates.
Federal Housing Administraton (FHA) Housing Loan Program -- FHA insures the loan, down payment requirements are as low as 3%, and most of the closing costs and fees can be included in the loan. FHA has a fixer-upper loan program and an FHA Energy Efficient Mortgage program. FHA has loan programs for manufactured homes and mobile homes.
15, 20, 30 year fixed, and adjustable rate loans* -
ICU does not retain or service all the real estate loans originated.
Pre-approvals -- Before you start shopping for your home,
stop by the credit union and obtain a pre-approval so you
know how much home you can afford.
