Important Security Update: Two-Factor Authentication for Online Banking

To help keep your account secure, online banking now includes two-factor authentication.

Beginning April 20, 2026, you will be asked to complete this new security step.

Two-factor authentication requires two things to access your account:

  • Your password
  • A one-time security code

When you log in, you will be asked how you would like to receive your security code. You can choose:

  • Email
  • Text message

If you choose text message (SMS), a one-time, five-digit passcode will be sent to the mobile number we have on file for you.

Unless you choose to Register Device, you will need to enter a one-time code each time you log in. When you register your device, this extra step may be skipped on that specific phone, tablet, or computer in the future. This added layer of protection helps better secure your account and personal information.

Here’s What We Need From You — Before April 20
For this to work smoothly, we need your current cell phone number and email address on file. If we have an old number or an email you don’t check anymore, you won’t be able to receive your security code — which means you could get locked out.

Take a minute right now to make sure your contact info is up to date:

  • Log in to online banking and check that your email address is correct: go to settings and edit email
  • To change your phone number, please give us a call
